Day 1: VALENCIA - BARCELONA - SAN FRANCISCO

Meeting on the departures level of Manises Airport at 5:30 a.m. to catch the Iberia flight to San Francisco, with a stopover in Barcelona. Direct flight with an estimated arrival in SAN FRANCISCO at 6:00 p.m. Check-in at the hotel and first introduction to the city.

Day 2: SAN FRANCISCO

SAN FRANCISCO was founded by Spanish settlers in 1776 and has witnessed some of the most important moments in U.S. history. It is undoubtedly one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, full of character, perfectly blending technology, modernity, and history. We will take a city tour to see its most important monuments and landmarks. Starting with the MARINA DISTRICT, one of the most famous neighborhoods in the city. Its iconic houses, offering the best views of the harbor, are true architectural marvels. Within the neighborhood, we will also see the famous PALACE OF FINE ARTS, built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition. Next, we will visit the city’s emblem, the GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE, one of the longest suspension bridges in the world, spanning 3 km and allowing you to cross San Francisco Bay without taking a ferry. We will continue to TWIN PEAKS, the twin hills reaching 280 meters, offering the best panoramic views of the city. We will finish our morning tour with a visit to the current SAN FRANCISCO CITY HALL, opened in 1915 to replace the building destroyed in the 1906 earthquake. The building bears a strong resemblance to Paris’ Les Invalides and is notable for its large dome, which at 90 meters is one of the largest in the world. In the afternoon, we will start at FISHERMAN’S WHARF, the old port area where recreational and fishing boats mix with the sea lions at Pier 39, and enjoy the best views of the bay. We will walk along the famous LOMBARD STREET, the steepest street in the city with a 40° zigzag incline, and explore CHINATOWN, the largest Chinese district in the U.S., until we reach UNION SQUARE, the city’s main square and most famous shopping area, where there will be free time for shopping and dinner. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.

Day 3: SAN FRANCISCO - MUIR WOODS - SUSALITO.

Free day or optional excursion to the forest where we will find the largest sequoias in North America: MUIR WOODS. We will cross the imposing Golden Gate Bridge to continue through Marin Headlands, arriving at Muir Woods, famous for its giant sequoias, the largest trees in the world. They can reach up to 150 meters in height, with trunk diameters ranging from 5 to 7 meters. Sequoias can live up to 4,000 years. Enjoying the fresh, fragrant air with hints of laurel, we will walk through the last refuge of these Jurassic-era giants and reach Redwood Creek. Leaving nature behind, we will head to SAUSALITO, our next stop, a beautiful Mediterranean-style town built on a hillside along the bay. Home to numerous artists, Sausalito is full of art galleries, cafés, and boutiques. In the afternoon, we will return to San Francisco to visit the famous Victorian houses that have appeared in numerous movies and TV series (such as Full House) in ALAMO SQUARE. Transfer back to the hotel and check-in.

Day 4: SAN FRANCISCO - TUOLUMNE.

In the morning, we will transfer to Pier 33 at Fisherman’s Wharf to take our ferry to ALCATRAZ. Located in San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz was a lonely island for thousands of years until it was converted into a fortress. In 1934, Alcatraz reopened as a federal penitentiary, a maximum-security prison that housed prisoners considered incorrigible and dangerous, including the infamous Al Capone. After the visit, we will continue our tour toward Yosemite National Park, spending the night in the city of SONORA. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 5: SONORA - YOSEMITE - FRESNO.

Departure to YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, where we will spend the entire day exploring YOSEMITE VALLEY, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984. Over 3 million people visit this park each year, renowned for its breathtaking beauty. We will visit its main points of interest, including YOSEMITE FALLS, the highest waterfalls in North America at 782 meters, the famous MIRROR LAKE, where the park’s landscape is perfectly reflected, and EL CAPITÁN, the vertical granite monolith standing 2,300 meters tall. We will then continue our journey to the city of FRESNO. Dinner on your own and check-in at the hotel.

Day 6: FRESNO - LAS VEGAS

We will also visit CAESARS PALACE and the PARIS HOTEL, where a scaled-down Eiffel Tower has been recreated. Of course, we will see the BELLAGIO, where we will enjoy the fountain show, the most beautiful in Las Vegas. We will end our tour at FREMONT STREET, where a nearly 30-meter-high barrel vault offers one of the most famous light and sound shows in Nevada’s capital. Overnight at the hotel.

Free day to enjoy Las Vegas or optional excursion to the GRAND CANYON OF THE COLORADO, with two options: by bus or by small plane. By bus: Departure at 7:00 a.m. toward GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, where we will visit the South Rim, the deepest part of the canyon. Once there, we will experience one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world. The canyon was carved by the Colorado River, which eroded the land over millions of years. It stretches approximately 446 km in length, has mountain ranges between 6 and 29 km wide, and reaches depths of over 1,600 meters. Nearly 2 billion years of Earth’s history are exposed as the Colorado River and its tributaries cut through layer after layer of sediment while the Colorado Plateau gradually rose. By small plane: In the morning, we will be picked up and flown to the West Rim of the canyon. Once there, we will descend by helicopter to the canyon floor. After some free time to explore, we will return to Las Vegas by plane. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.
